Ribbon Roller Coaster

Ribbon Roller Coaster craft

Hold on for a thrilling ride through your children's inventive minds. Kids observe details, evaluate processes, and make decisions as they create their very own roller coasters.

  • 1.

Using Crayola® School Glue, glue construction paper to cardboard that is large enough to hold your amusement park ride.

  • 2.

Think about what makes a good roller coaster. Height? Curves and twists? Speed? Plunges? Check with friends and information resources to help you design your coaster. Invent new rides or model yours after a favorite park.

  • 3.

With Crayola Scissors, cut wide ribbon long enough to make your ride. Loop and bend the ribbon in your roller coaster's design. Use Crayola Crayons to create the ride's structure and hold the ribbon in the air. Attach the ribbon, structure, and base with Crayola School Glue.

  • 4.

Use Crayola Washable Markers and Crayola Glitter Glue to create the rest of your amusement park: benches, refreshment stands, people, and other details.
