This sparkling treasure box is the perfect place for you to keep your jewels.
1.
Cut the box and lid. Use a Crayola® Gel Marker to draw a line around the bottom of a recycled plastic milk container. Make it as deep as you like. Dip the line slightly at each corner. Ask an adult to help cut out your jewelry box with Crayola Scissors.
2.
Use one of the remaining sides of the milk container to make a lid the same size as the opening of your jewelry box. Cut a slightly longer tab at each corner of the lid.
3.
Decorate your box. Cut out and decorate bright construction paper shapes. With Crayola School Glue, attach them to the sides and lid of your box. Air-dry the glue.
4.
Decorate the empty spaces on the box and lid with Crayola Gel Markers. Add sparkles with Crayola Glitter Glue on the paper. Air-dry overnight.
5.
Add a handle. Punch two holes in the lid. Attach a chenille stem as a handle.
