Are Crayola products acid free and permanent?

By definition, acid free is having a pH of 6.5 to 8.0. As of May 2017, the following Crayola products met an "acid free" definition [having a pH of 6.5 to 8.0]:

 - Crayola Crayons

 - Crayola Colored Pencils

 - Signature Series Creative Lettering Inspiration Pad

 - Signature Series Blend & Shade Inspiration Pad

 - Signature Series Colored Pencils

The color pigments contained in most Crayola products are not permanent and will fade over time when exposed to strong light.  However, Crayola Portfolio Series Acrylic paints would be considered permanent and light-fast on most paper surfaces

*Vendor and product ingredients may change and cause a product that was once acid free to no longer be, and vice versa.
