- Retract the tip of your gel pen after each use and store in an upright position to avoid leaking.
- If your gel pen appears dry, try tapping the tip against paper to engage/disengage the tip until writing comes back. If this is unsuccessful, it is possible the pen is actually empty even though it may appear some ink is remaining.
