What are the primary colors?

Primary colors include red, blue and yellow. Primary colors cannot be mixed from other colors. They are the source of all other colors. Secondary colors are mixed from two primary colors adjacent to each other on the color wheel. The secondary colors are orange, green and violet. For basic color theory information, you may wish to reference the book Blue and Yellow Don’t Make Green by Michael Wilcox. The Internet or your local library are additional sources for color theory or color mixing information.
