Crayola Multicultural Crayons were introduced in 1992 in response to consumer and educator feedback. The existing colors were chosen from our standard product selections to represent skin tones of the world. Black and white are included for blending other colors. In 1993, we created Multicultural Markers to continue the fit with school curriculums.
