Use Crayola® crayons, colored pencils, or markers to color the French and U.S. flags red, white, and blue. When coloring the French flag, color the left stripe blue. Color (or leave) the middle stripe white, and color the right stripe red. When coloring the U.S. flag, color the stripes alternating red and white. (The first and last stripes are red.) Color the stars white with a blue background. Did you know?
The French looked to the United States and its democratic ideals when developing their new government after the French king was dethroned. They even used the same colors for their flag.
