1. Print out the Patriotic Pinwheel page. 2. Cut out the large square. 3. Use Crayola® crayons, colored pencils, or markers to decorate both sides of the square. 4. Fold the square in half diagonally and then fold it again. Unfold. 5. Cut along the dotted lines. 6. Each corners should have two points. Fold over every other point to the center. 7. Push a fastener through the middle. 8. Cut a long, thin strip of cardboard from a recycled cereal box or file folder. 9. Press the fastener through one end and spread it closed. 10. Blow on it to make it spin, or display it proudly outdoors for the wind to blow through it.
