Rangoli is a decorative art used in India. The designs should be placed near doors or entrances as a sign of welcome. First, the design is drawn. Second, colored sand or powdered chalk is poured on top. 1. Use Crayola® crayons, colored pencils, or markers to color the Rangoli Designs. 2. Glue the page to a thin piece of cardboard. After the glue dries, trim around the design. 3. Ask an adult to help you punch a hole in the top, and string with ribbon or yarn. Ask and adult to help you hang it in the window or on your front door as a welcome sign to friends.
