How to remove Dry-Erase Markers from whiteboard (porcelain or laminate)

Wipe all stains with a whiteboard cleaner according to the directions on the container. If any stain remains, apply Formula 409 according to the directions on the container. If the stain persists, saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol; blot the remaining stain and rinse. Or, you may use Clorox Clean-Up Cleaner (spray bottle) according to the directions on the container. You may also try the following: Use another color dry erase marker over the stain and wipe off while ink is still wet. Sometimes, using another color maker over the color, lifts the under color when erased. ADDITIONAL NOTES If whiteboard surface is porcelain, the dry erase marker should erase easily. If the whiteboard surface is laminate, use the suggestion provided. NOT RECOMMENDED - Soft Scrub or any abrasive cleaner.
