  • 1.

    Use the fold of a recycled file folder as the beginning point for your Alien From Outer Space. With Crayola® Scissors, cut into the folder on an angle to create areas that you can later pull up from the folder for eyes, mouths, and other things you’d like to include in your alien’s face.

    Use Crayola® Twistables to add details. Bring out your creature's true character with creative patterns and colors!

    Roll the file folder into a loose cylinder with the face at the front for a preview. Then unroll it. Add any changes you'd like.

  • 4.

    Cut the remaining edges of the file folder into strips that will meet at the back of the cylinder. Carefully staple these together so the cylinder holds its shape.

    Sketch details such as hair, feathers, and scales on construction paper. Measure aluminum foil to go behind the eyes, for example, for an eerie effect. Cut out the pieces. Glue them on with Crayola® School Glue. Dry.
