Recycle what's around the house to make a really neat alien! Build something clever, cover it with paper maché, paint, and then decorate it.
1.
Cover your work area with newspaper. Arrange several small recycled boxes, fruit or yogurt cups, milk cartons, and/or cardboard rolls to form a space ship and an alien. Glue them together with Crayola® School Glue.
2.
Tear more newspaper into small strips or pieces. Combine equal amount of glue and water in a bowl for paper maché. Dip newspaper pieces in the mixture. Cover the alien and space ship with at least three layers. Dry after you apply each layer.
3.
Paint your alien and space ship with Crayola Washable Kid's Paint and Brushes. Dry.
4.
Decorate your creations with craft items such as feathers and Crayola Glitter Glue. It's time to take off!
