Gather together to read or retell the story of Stone Soup. What vegetables would you bring to the pot?

Tear a soup cauldron from black construction paper. Glue the pot to white paper with a Crayola® Glue Stick.

On more construction paper, cover areas with vegetable-like colors using Crayola Bold Markers. Tear into shapes such as carrots, beets, and broccoli. Glue veggies above the kettle’s top. Color and tear out fiery flames to glue below the soup pot.
