Giggling, Glowing Ghoulies

Giggling, Glowing Ghoulies craft

Greet trick-or-treaters and fall guests with pumpkins, monsters, spiders, and bats that feature glowing eyes and shining smiles!

  • 1.

Use your imagination to create any kind of giggling, glowing, ghoulie creature you can imagine, such as a pumpkin, monster, spider, bat, ghost, or witch. To make a jack o’ lantern, follow these steps.

  • 2.

Cut a pumpkin from orange paper with Crayola Scissors. Cut a face, eyes, a nose, and a mouth, maybe with funny teeth. It’s great for interior cuts!

  • 3.

Cut transparent paper to fit behind each opening in the face. Cut each piece a bit larger than the opening it will cover. Glue paper on the back of the pumpkin to cover the holes.

  • 4.

Add designs to the front of your jack o’ lantern with Crayola Twistables® Slick Stix™ Crayons.

  • 5.

Hold a flashlight behind the jack o’ lantern to make it glow. Or tape it inside a window and let light from the room make the face appear to glow when viewed from outside at night.
