Thread and twist wire through the earring holes. Twist wire around itself again to hold your designs in place.

Model Magic® dries to the touch overnight and dries completely in 2 to 3 days.

What colors of Crayola Model Magic® fit the fashion style of the person who will wear them—you or someone else? Are beaded or flat earrings the best?

If you like, add shimmer or details with Crayola Glitter Glue. Air-dry the earrings before wearing.

To make BEADED earrings, roll small Model Magic balls or ovals. Choose all the same colors or alternate colors. Make as many as you like. Your earrings could have the same number of beads on them or look different from one ear to the next. You decide!

Let the beads air-dry for about 30 minutes or more, depending on the size of the bead. Meanwhile prepare the earring hooks. Hook the eye pins onto the bottom of the earring backings. Use pliers if needed to pry them open.

Poke the end of the Eye Pin through the beads to create the look you want. After placing all of the beads on the pins, use pliers to curl the bottom of the pin to prevent the beads from slipping off.

To make FLAT earrings, first cut out desired earring shape from a paper plate. Select your Model Magic colors. Spread and smooth the compound on the front and back of the cut out.

Add tiny balls, stripes, or other bits of Model Magic to the earring surface. Roll small balls to give a beaded look. Use a toothpick to poke a hole in the top of the earring for hanging. Air-dry for about 30 minutes.

While the earrings set, cut small pieces of jewelry wire to the desired length. Loop through the end of the earring hooks making sure to twist wire around itself to prevent it from coming loose from earring hook.
