Tissues decorate the outside of this treasure box! This mosaic box makes a unique gift—or place to store your stuff.
1.
Cover your art area with newspaper. Put a small amount of water in a paper cup. Add drops of one color of Crayola® Washable Watercolors with a Paint Brush. Dip a tissue in the paint. Gently open up the tissue and lay it flat to dry on paper towels. Repeat with colors you'll use for a mosaic on the sides of a recycled tissue box.
2.
Ask an adult to help you cut off the top of the tissue box with Crayola Scissors. Outline mosaic designs on all four sides of the box with Crayola Erasable Colored Pencils. Tear dry colored tissues in small pieces and roll into balls. Glue tissue balls to the box to create your pattern. Dry.
3.
If you wish, glue a chenille stick to the box for a handle. Line the box with festive tissue paper. Fill it with treasures for yourself or as a gift.
