Travel Memories Organizer

Do you have maps, photos, and brochures from a trip or event that are sitting in a pile? Stash your stuff in a handsome box that invites you to get organized and share your memories! Start with a wooden craft box (or a recycled cardboard box with a lid). Use your imagination and any theme to decorate your storage container. Here’s one way to do it.

With Crayola Scissors, cut enough interesting paper to cover the inside and outside of your box—photos, maps, brochures, menus, newspaper articles or pictures, stickers. Make a collage of funky shapes and sizes! Glue the papers to the outside and inside of the box so it has a decoupage look. Brush a glaze of equal parts glue and water over the top to protect the surface. Air-dry the glue.

Shape, or roll and cut, Crayola Model Magic® compound into thin mementoes of landmarks, animals, people, and fun places you went. Press them in place on the box, inside and out. Glue them to the surface as needed. Model Magic® dries to the touch overnight and dries completely in 2 to 3 days.
