1.
Men wore something like neckties in ancient China and Rome. Ties are still often a statement of style! Perk up a package or decorate dad’s office door with this spiffy tie.
2.
Draw a knotted tie (or a bow tie) on posterboard with Erasable® Colored Pencils. You can always erase until you get the shape you want. Cut out the tie with Crayola Scissors.
3.
To make a printing stamp, choose a simple symbol---a heart, Xs and Os (hugs and kisses), golf ball, or the groovy guy’s initials. On a foam produce tray, outline your design with the tip of a colored pencil. (Remember, it will print backwards!) Cut out the stamp.
4.
Cover your craft area with newspaper. Brush Crayola Washable Kid’s Paint on the stamp. Print it on the tie in a pattern or randomly. Air-dry the tie.
5.
Use Crayola Twistables and Markers to highlight the printed designs. Make a very hip tie for a hip guy!
