Bring the whole family together to create a Giving Thanks
door wreath. On colorful, dark slips of paper, each family member writes or draws several expressions of thanks with Crayola® Gel F/X Washable Markers. Cut a wreath from cardboard. Glue thanks messages to the wreath with Crayola® School Glue, and add a festive bow.
Drape the Windows
Make a paper chain of reasons why your family is thankful this year. Cut long, narrow rectangles of bright construction paper. Write messages of thanksgiving on them with Crayola® Metallic Crayons. Interlock rings and seal with Crayola® Glue Sticks. Hang paper chains from windows and doorways, and on walls.
Fly a Banner of Thanks
Give thanks with a quilt or wallhanging that can later become a family heirloom. On several squares of paper, family members illustrate why they are thankful, using Crayola® Fabric Crayons. Arrange the squares in a pleasing design, then iron them onto white, synthetic fabric (not 100% cotton), according to package directions.
Mobile of thanks
Images of thanksgiving peacefully move about when hung on a mobile. Paint a cardboard gift-wrap roll with Crayola® Washable Kid's Paint. This will be the top. While it dries, draw pictures or words on both sides of bright paper with Crayola® Gel F/X Crayons. Cut strings in several different lengths and tie your images to the painted roll.
