Pine cones, leaves, and other natural objects radiate when covered with gold Crayola® Premier™ Tempera and Glitter Glue. Create natural gifts with a decorative flair!

  • 1.

    With an adult supervising, collect fallen plant parts such as pinecones, seed pods, and leaves. Choose only those that are safe to handle. Look for varied and unusual shapes and textures. Wash hands when you return indoors.

  • 2.

    Cover your art area with newspaper. Identify the names of the trees and other plants from which your natural items fell.

  • 3.

    Paint your plant material with gold Crayola Premier Tempera using Crayola Paint Brushes. Dry.

  • 4.

    Use your imagination to decorate your painted treasures with Crayola Glitter Glue. Dry.

  • 5.

    Add a hanger of ribbon, raffia, string, or yarn. Hang as ornaments, use as gift package decorations, or display for a holiday.
