Hobbies are a great way for kids to explore their interests and talents. Young collectors are fascinated with their own imaginary monsters.
1.
Fold white paper into quarters. In each quarter, draw imaginary monsters with Crayola® Colored Pencils. Fill in darker lines and areas with Crayola Fine Line Markers.
2.
Write the name each monster. Make up a number rating system for the different monsters' powers, and mark these on the cards.
3.
Photocopy the cards and color them with colored pencils.
4.
Fold construction paper in quarters to make a backing for the cards. (For even sturdier cards, use recycled file folders.)
5.
Glue cards onto backings with a Crayola Glue Stick. With Crayola Scissors, cut the drawings and backings along the fold lines.
6.
Make up a game with your cards to play with friends. Decorate a recycled cardboard box to hold cards. Trade cards, too.
