Paper Petals

Paper Petals craft

Young children delight in making these torn-paper petals. There's no mess with Crayola® Color Wonder™ Markers and Paper.

  • 1.

With a grown-up, look at some beautiful flowers outdoors. Find pictures of them in seed catalogs. Where are the stems, leaves, and flower petals? Remember the flowers' beautiful colors when you make your own Paper Petals.

  • 2.

Color one sheet of Crayola Color Wonder Paper with green Color Wonder Markers for your flower stems and leaves. Color other sheets in bright flower colors.

  • 3.

Tear your colored papers into small pieces. Make several shapes and sizes.

  • 4.

On another sheet of Color Wonder Paper, arrange your colored paper bits into blooming flowers. Add stems and leaves to your mosaic.

  • 5.

Attach your flowers to the background paper with a Crayola Glue Stick. Overlap some of your Paper Petals to get a 3-D flower effect. Draw designs around the flower or write your name if you like.
