Shark Chasing a Sail Boat

Shark Chasing a Sail Boat craft

Imagine a sailor at sea, looking for a safe port. The seas are rough and a hungry shark is following close behind!! What happens next? Use your imagination and anything is possible!

  • 1.

Imagine a ship or boat sailing in the ocean; it can be any kind of vessel you like! Use the Crayola Neon Color Explosion® Marker and Paper System to make the ship. Fold paper with origami or cut and glue pieces together to make your ship.

  • 2.

Use Neon Color Explosion Markers to decorate your ship. Cut and attach foam shapes and chenille sticks to give your scene even more personality and dimension. Glue on a craft stick as a mast to hold your ship’s sail.

  • 3.

Now the ship needs a sea with crashing waves. Fold Neon Color Explosion Paper like a fan. Cut waves in the folds. Again, use Neon Color Explosion Markers and foam shapes to add detail to the waves.

  • 4.

Watch out! Your sailor is not alone in the ocean. A shark is following close behind! Use another piece of Neon Color Explosion Paper to make a hungry shark—or maybe you prefer an octopus, whale, or some other animal. The two-sided paper colors are perfect

Glue the pieces in place or leave them separate so you can play with them. Add more ships, islands, icebergs, even pirates. Tell the story of your nautical adventure to your friends and family!
