Use Crayola® crayons, colored pencils, or markers to color the picture of the First Radio Broadcast. Did you know? The first radio broadcast of a person's voice occurred on December 24, 1906. An Engineer named Reginald Fessenden from Brant Rock, Massachusetts, was sure that the radio could transmit more than simple Morse Code. Ships sailing on the Atlantic ocean heard Fessenden's broadcast, which included a man reading poetry, a woman singing, and a someone playing the violin. The officers of the ships were very surprised, to say the least!
