This finger-painted mobile combines pie-in-the-sky fun with fine-motor and coordination skills building. Move outside and turn on the hose for easy cleanup.
1.
Cover your work area with recycled newspaper. Spread Crayola® Washable Finger Paint on a smooth, washable tray such as a cookie sheet. Using your fingers and hands, trace a design or picture in the paint.
2.
Press a large paper plate onto the paint to print your design. Repeat several times using small paper plates. Set the plates aside to dry. Then print the other sides of the plates.
3.
To assemble your mobile, cut ribbon in different lengths with Crayola Scissors. (If you are 3 or younger, ask an adult to cut for you).
4.
Tape ribbon to the tops of the smaller paper plates (or punch holes and tie knots). Attach the other end of the ribbons to the bottom of the larger plate.
5.
Attach a longer piece of ribbon to the top of the large plate to hang the mobile.
