Who’s your favorite team? It’s in the bag with a colorful, spirited tote you can make yourself!
1.
Let’s get started! Make your tote number one by following a few simple steps! Crayola Fabric Markers may stain clothes and surfaces. Wear a smock and cover your work surface with recycled newspaper. Place a piece of paper underneath the drawing area of a canvas tote to prevent bleed through.
2.
Who’s got spirit? You do! Design a bag that shows it off! Include team colors, mascots and logos. Draw your design, making sure you have saturated the tote so your colors stand out. Remember, fabric markers are permanent on clothing. Recap markers as soon as possible and store them in a horizontal position.
3.
Hot stuff! If desired, when you are finished ask an adult to iron your design. Set the iron on a cotton setting and iron on the reverse side using a back and forth motion for 4 minutes. Or place garment in the dryer for 30 minutes on the hottest setting. This will fix the color to the fabric.
4.
Three cheers for creativity! Add extras to your tote to give it some flair! Use glue to add buttons, beads, ribbon or other embellishments. Allow the glue to air-dry.
