Kids imitate story and movie characters with this Wizard Set! Make several as gifts, or create them with guests at a magic-theme birthday party.
1.
To create the wizard hat: Use Crayola® Scissors to cut a large piece of black construction paper into the shape of a capital D. With Crayola Metallic Colored Pencils and Crayola Metallic FX Crayons, draw stars, half moons, or other wizard designs on one side.
2.
Turn the paper over. To roll the paper into a cone that fits your head, wrap the two pointed ends of the D toward each other. Seal the seam with clear adhesive tape.
3.
Cut small pieces of metallic ribbon. Dip ribbon ends in Crayola School Glue and attach inside tip of hat. Punch holes and tie two pieces of ribbon to bottom of hat to tie under chin.
4.
To create the wizard wand: Use metallic crayons to make magical designs on a long, narrow piece of black construction paper. Roll paper into a tight tube and seal with tape. Cut small pieces of metallic ribbon. Dip ends of ribbon in glue and attach inside the tube.
5.
To create the wizard bag: Mark a border around the top and bottom edges of a black paper party bag. Draw designs and your name in metallic colors.
